Nasi Katok Anyone?

Nasi katok, one of Brunei’s finest fast food ever created. The word ‘Nasi Katok’ literally mean Knock rice, sometimes it is also call as ‘ Nasi Kotak’. Nasi Katok is not unique because it is just plain white rice(nasi) with a hot spicy sambal, a small piece of chicken or beef with some ‘pusu’ added into it & wrapped in a paper wrapper. There is also some other variations depending on which vendor you go to, but my personal favourite is at the night stall in Gadong. It cost only $1 for a small packet. This food is been sold all over Brunei because it’s very cheap for a quick meal/snack.

Well, if you want to get a ready/quick meal, just go to the nearest Nasi Katok vendor and get one, I’m sure it is worth the journey. =)
