Elite 4 - ARSENAL-

This post is for all Gunners out there, wherever you are.. Seriously, I miss the old Arsenal, their flair, techniques, quick transition from defense to attack & above all, Highbury with its well surface pitch eventhough its not a big stadium(30000+).


* The old fortress*

The old days Arsenal seems to be invincible with a squad full with talents & youth + made Highbury as their own fortress. I miss the physical present of the old Arsenal team.. They used to set the formation as 4-4-2. With David Seaman as Goalie. Lauren, Cole, Campbell, Adam, Keown, & Dixon in defence. With the likes of Vieira, Pires, Wiltord, Ljunberg, Edu, & Parlour. At Front, the most exciting players to watched, Thierry Henry alongside Bergkamp & Kanu. Arsenal was ONCE a mighty force not only in the EPL but in Europe as well..

For those Non Arsenal fans, U would agree with me right??

Nowadays, since All of the stars has been sold/retired, their position have not been replaced, instead they bought youngsters to fill in the boots. For me, they are alright but we NEED talented players to fill the gaps, not just rely on youngsters.. + Emirates stadium is one of the best staduim in England maybe in Europe but its not a fortress for them, Arsenal even struggled playing at their home turf. aarrgghh...

The new season is starting next week, and I hope Arsenal can gain ground with the other Elite 3... Now, we had Van Persie, Fabregas, Rosicky, Eboue, Clichy,etc. Hope they can maintain Arsenal's name as the Elite 4 in England...
