Gunners Update

Last weekend, Arsenal played Man.City at The Emirates & oh S*** It was a hell of a game. Arsenal was hit by a long & new injure lists. New Injure casualties: Senderos & Sagna. Arsenal mix-shift defence was tested against Man.City with Flamini, Toure, Gilberto & Clichy at the back.

The match was awesome! A high-tempo game, quick counter-attacks with both sides created chances. Man.City began the match with blistering speed & long distance shooting capabilities. But Arsenal soon began controlling the tempo with their unstoppable passing. Arsenal soon developed their confidence & straight away began attacking City's defense & tested their highly rated keeper, Schmeichel. I believed he was at the top of his game against Arsenal last Saturday. Damn, I wish Arsenal have a strong keeper like him.

It was 0-0 at the end of the 1st half. The 2nd half was unbelievable. Full of dramas & tensions. Both team went very close to score the 2st goal of the game. Around the hour mark, Arsenal was given a golden opportunity, a PENALTY.. Van Persie stepped up & his penalty kicked was saveD. Shit...

When all hopes was lost, it was Cesc Fabregas came to Arsenal's rescue.

The Emirates erupted with joy & I was sooo happy, jumping at home. The drama didn't end up just like that. In the dying moment, Schmeichel went to the penalty box & headed a corner, it was close. Luckily, Almunia saved it. Sigh. A sigh of relief. The match ended 1-0 to the Gunner & 3 points was in the bag. YAY.......

Arsenal next have a home Champions League Qualification match against Prague. Come on Gunners!!
