Gunner Update

Arsenal won a bruising, breathless and ultimately brilliant North London derby at Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The final score was 2-1 to the Gunners! =)

Arsenal went ahead after a brilliant back-heel pass from Cesc to step-up Adebayor to steer Arsenal ahead. Spurs fought back & soon scored with a powerful Berbatov shot. Wicked shot. The winner arrived 15 minutes from time when Nicklas Bendtner came off the bench to power home a close-range header with his first touch. But the hero of the match was our consistent goalie, Almunia. He saved a Robbie Keane spot-kick after he was brought down in the penalty box. 3 mins later, Bendtner scored his first BPL goal to put us ahead 2-1. Woohoo.. What a match lastnight. Another north-London derby! and this derby was special. Arsenal deservedly held on to their victory and their lead of the Premier League.
