Shattered soul,
And shadows come,
To fill the void.
Life and lie are all the same.
Sadness prevails,
But who’s to blame?

Alone,
With no warmth in the day.

Confused,
in my once silenced mind.

No one close to share my thoughts,
Or my love.
No one’s touch to wake my desire,
To bring reason to live my empty life.
Nothing’s real,
Nothing’s true.
There’s always only me,
Trapped in a sea of loneliness.
