EPL actions lastnight:

The story of the night was between Sheffield United & West Ham. West Ham has the upper hand in this match because they are currently on a winning streak as Sheffield are currently on a poor streak & they got suck into the relegation battle. To summarize the match, Sheffield won by 3-0, an unbelievable result by the Blades as they hammered the Hammers at their home soil. An incredible home victory by the Blades as they go out from the relegation zone as West Ham are stuck in the second last bottom place of the EPL. West Ham have to play Chelsea & Man United in their next few matches & in my opinion, West Ham have to step up their performance to be able to beat these 2 giants. Tough luck babah.hehe.

In the other matches, Liverpool was held to a goaless draw at the City of Manchester as both side created lots of chances in the game & the game could go either way. A disappointing result for the Reds but what a great result by Stuart Pearce side as they are now safe from relegation.

Reading won at their home ground beating Fulham by 1-0 to keep pace with the top 6 of the EPL table.

Aston Villa surprisingly beat Middlesbrough by 3-1 away win at the Riverside to move them away from relegation zone.

Portsmouth won to keep pace with the other UEFA competitiors with a 2-1 home win over Newcastle.
